Project Engineer for Vehicle System / Railway Sector

Job Main Characteristics:

The candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team in charge of definition, design and technical management of the vehicle system in railway transportation sector.

He/she will have the responsibility of the vehicle system of the railway product developed by BLUE project team. The activity will be the technical definition of the train and the management of the development team in order to attain the successful entering into service of the final railway vehicle. He will be involved into concept definition of the vehicle, preparation of technical requirements, technical procurement specifications for vehicle system and subsystems, technical documentation, design reviews with suppliers and car builders, audits reviews with third party assessors for certification, test commissioning and other related activities focused on product development up to entering into service.

Job Type: Full time, permanent.

Candidates applying for this position should have the following characteristics:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace or Electronic Engineering.
• Good English to independently understand and produce technical documentation.
• Good communications and interpersonal skills

A sound knowledge of railway sector and products is required with specific competence and experience in vehicle characteristics and functionalities conception, development, implementation and verification.

Degree: Graduate

Experience: minimum 5 years

Spoken languages: Technical English.
